We are the Rushcliffe Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Setting off from Hungarton,this circular walk through undulating Leicestershire countryside extends to Tilton on the Hill. The walk passes through the parklands of the three halls of Quenby, Lowesby and Baggrave. We will pass the sites of four medieval villages, long abandonded and now evidenced only by ridges in the fields. Total ascent is 280m with no strenuous climbs. The walk involves field paths, farm tracks and short lengths of roadside.
This walk will be led by Howard and Julie.
