We are the Rushcliffe Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a circular walk of about 7.5 miles from Thurgarton to Epperstone, along both sides of a small valley. The walk begins along a well paved farm road for some distance heading towards Holly beck Nurseries, before turning off left along field paths towards Epperstone. Here the walk follows the undulating nature of the landscape with gradual slopes up and down and good views. Once in Epperstone there is a lunch stop before heading gradually up again along Hagg lane out of Epperstone. Eventually reaching a grassy field path back to Thurgarton. There are views from the higher ground. Walking is moderate with care needed in parts where there will be mud after rain.

Meet at Thurgarton Village Hall Bleasby Road. PARKING INFORMATION: Take the A612 towards Southwell. In Thurgarton turn right onto Bleasby Road. Turn right into Thurgarton village hall. A grey wooden building. Park at the back of the building where there is parking for about 10 to 12 cars.
