This is a 4-mile varied walk-through Burnham Beeches ancient woodland.
The pace will be easy, there are no stiles, and it is mostly on good paths, although there is a substantial hill in the first part of the walk. It is a great walk for new members and people who are getting back into walking after a break as the walk can be shortened to 2 miles. Join us for a drink and a chat afterwards. This walk is open to members of Slough U3A.

Meet near the information point next to the café, toilets and seating area. Parking is via card or Ringo app and is £1.50 for 2 hours or £3 for all day. The post code is the nearest postcode to the parking area. The easiest way is to take the A355 Beaconsfield Road and follow the brown signs Farnham Common into Beeches Road. At the end you can see the small road, Lord Mayors Drive into Burnham Beeches. The First X74 bus from Slough to High Wycombe stops in Farnham Common. Alight and walk along Beeches Road and into the Burnham Beeches car parking area.
