Overview

Starting from the Saxon village of Taplow walk down to Maidenhead Riverside and Boulters Lock (toilets available here). Along the Thames path past Brunel's Sounding arch and on to the farm tracks and Amerden before climbing back up to Taplow. Bring a drink and a snack, but there may be an opportunity for a hot drink at the Taplow Lake Cafe.
