A fabulously scenic ramble beginning in the Nature reserve at Cromwell Bottom, following the Red Beck towards Northowram, and through woodland beside Jum Hole Beck. We will skirt the very edge of the lovely Shibden Park estate before following in the main the Brighouse Boundary Walk route.
At this time of year, Calderdale weather can be notoriously unpredictable so please come prepared for the forecast conditions, particularly footwear as parts of the route can be wet and muddy.
Bring a packed lunch, as refreshments will only be available at the nature reserve at the start and end of the walk.
Free parking is available at Cromwell Bottom but it is a very popular Sunday destination so carsharing might be advised. For public transport, please check Sunday timetables for buses along the Brighouse Road.
