Overview

A classic walk taking in both sides of the Derwent Valley.  Starting from Holloway  the route takes us through Bow Wood, an area of semi-natural oak and birch woodland. From there we descend to Cromford, rich with industrial history and a key part of the  Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.

We then ascend the other side of the valley via Intake Lane and return via the Cromford Canal.
