Overview

Starting from near Abermule we climb to Dolforwyn Castle then via open country, woodland and fields head for Cefn-y-pwll. Quiet country lanes then a short stretch (80m, please bring hi-vis if you have it) along the A483 brings us to a bridge across the canal, and we return along the towpath.

Lay by on the A483 just before the turn-off for Abermule w3w:- ages.brochure.hires Parking is very limited (it's in a lay-by on the A483) so please could people share lifts if at all possible.
