We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk goes through the villages of Cawton, Oswaldkirk and Sproxton to continue along the River Rye into Helmsley.

Catch the 81 bus at 09.00 from Station Avenue to arrive into Malton at 10.20. The bus then becomes the 10.25 194 to Hovingham arriving at 10.49 where we start the walk.
(Alternatively you could catch the 09.13 Coastliner to arrive into Malton at 10.11. However if this is late you may miss the connection at Malton).
Return from Helmsley on the 16.00 31X to Easingwold, arriving 16.42 to transfer to the 16.50 no 30 bus to York Station Avenue at 17.28.
