Overview

From a single track road we pick up the Red Road upwards beside Hare Hill before turning onto a grassy path up to the top. Weather permitting we should get good views.

To visit the Junkers-88 crash site it will involve Heather bashing both ways.

Returning to the summit we descend to Green Cleugh and Bavelaw, finishing the walk with a visit to the hide and the boardwalk at Red Moss Nature Reserve.
