This circular town walk follows the route of the Parliamentary Boundary of the Royal Burgh of Linlithgow. The Boundary is marked by eight March Stones (one original & seven replicas), inscribed 'LPB' (Linlithgow Parliamentary Burgh).
Linlithgow is steeped in history & along the way we will pass Linlithgow Loch & Palace, St Michael's Church with its newly restored golden spire, Union Canal & the Canal Basin, the remains of the Carmelite Friary & Tim Chalk's sculpture of an old local character, Katie Wearie.
The path is on mostly surfaced footpaths & well defined tracks.
Toilets are available during the walk with a slight diversion from the route.
Please contact the walk leader if you wish to attend this walk.
Linlithgow has many places for refreshments after the walk for those who wish.
