Tram and bus based walk

Meet Point: On the Metrolink platform at Manchester Victoria Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the tram, or at the Walk Start at Hollinwood station.
Transport to Walk Start: Any tram to get you to the start point for 12:00pm
Suggested Ticket: Metrolink zones 1, 2 & 3 ticket.
Walk Start: Hollinwood Metrolink station at 12:00pm
Waypoints: Rochdale canal, Slattocks, Hopwood Woods, Hopwood Hall, Modernist Chapel, Boarshaw Clough, Middleton
Return Services: The No. 17 bus from Middleton to Manchester - £2.00
Extra: Please use the toilet at the station. No toilets en route. Optional drinks at the end of the walk. Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs).:
We will walk along along the Rochdale canal to Slattocks and then into Hopwood woods to view the historic hall and modernist chapel
We will continue through Boarshaw clough to view some of the historic buildings in Middleton
