A walk exploring the beautiful countryside of Nant Gwynant. Our rooute starts on the lower reaches of the Snowdon Watkin path, soon leaving this well-trodden route to venture on to a quieter path created by the National Trust. The path crosses the rough hillsides above Llyn Dinas, with wonderful views over the lake to the mountains beyond, and then makes its way towards the grounds of Craflwyn Hall. Here a network of paths descends through attractive woodlands and past little waterfalls, eventually reaching the main road. We cross the road to turn back on a path heading to, and then alongside, Llyn Dinas, finishing the walk with a short stretch along a quiet lane.
