Overview

An 8.5mile stroll from Milngavie town centre up to the beautiful Dumbrock Loch, taking in the reservoirs at Milngavie, Drumclog Moor and Mugdock Loch. Good paths throughout, though may be very muddy in places. Some tarmac walking, particularly near the start.

We'll stop for a tea break and lunch so please bring snacks and drinks.

We will meet at Glasgow Queen Street Station at 9.20am in time to catch the 09.38am train to Milngavie. The walk will start from Milngavie station after the train arrives at 10.02am.

If you wish to come on the walk you must contact the Leader (Yvonne) in advance by email or text but not more than two weeks in advance. Also please provide the Leader with a mobile phone number in case arrangements change. 

Walkers should not come on the walk if they have any symptoms associated with the Covid virus.
