We are the Exeter and District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Mostly on moorland paths and other tracks, with a little lane walking. From Houndtor with its commanding views we shall head into the valley, passing the medieval village before reaching Smallacombe Rocks from where we will walk along the ridge of Black Hill, descending to pass Becky Falls – without paying to get in! Then on to Water, Horsham, and Manaton. Finally crossing Hayne Down from where, after a nod in the direction of Bowerman’s Nose, we shall return to the start.
