From Ivybridge we walk northwards along the beautiful River Erme Valley, then through the hamlet of Harford. We enter moorland at Harford Moor Gate and ascend onto Butterdon Hill, and then proceed southwards along the ridge to Western Beacon, taking in the excellent views. Here we descend on the Two Moors Way into Ivybridge, and return to the starting point.
