A beautiful walk surrounded by mountains. Some uneven surfaces so if weather inclement wear good walking boots and of course bring the necessary waterproof gear. We will walk at a good pace as we will be dependant on meeting the bus home.
Meet at Buchanan St Bus station to catch the 914 service at 08.45 to Tyndrum. Leader will catch the bus at Hillhead.
We will catch the 914 service at 18.59 for the return journey to Glasgow.
It is essential to book the bus in both directions. You can do this in person at the Buchanan St Bus station or through the Citylink website https://booking.citylink.co.uk/#/
We can use facilities at the Green Welly in Tyndrum for a comfort stop as there are no toilet facilities on the walk.
We will stop for a short break during the morning, have lunch at Bridge of Orchy station, so bring plenty to eat and drink! Another short break on our return and if time permits we can have a refreshment back in Tyndrum.
Note: The finish time for the walk is an approximation.
If you wish to come on the walk you must contact the Leader in advance by email, text or phone call, but not more than two weeks in advance. Also, please provide the Leader with a mobile phone number in case arrangements change.
Walkers should not come on the walk if they have any symptoms associated with the Covid virus.
