Overview

Join us on this classic valley to uplands walk from Rowsley. We ascend to Stanton Moor, stopping at the Nine Ladies, an early Bronze Age stone circle. Stanton Moor is also well known for its wind-eroded sandstone pillars, of which the Cork Stone and the Cat Stone are perhaps most well-known.  We return into the Derwent valley via Congreave.
