The walk starts from St Albans Abbey station and follows the River Ver trail through the Verulamium Park and continues along the Hertfordshire Way, through Gorhambury and Shafford Farm / Mill to Redbournbury. Redbournbury Water Mill is an 18th century functional mill, producing its own on-site produce, a range of artisan loaves and cakes. We will stop here for our morning break where you can buy some of the produce made from the locally grown grains. We will then continue our walk to Childwickbury where we will stop for a late lunch before re-joining the Hertfordshire way to return to St Albans for the final mill of the walk, Kingsbury Mill.
