We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Roadside parking on the road going up the hill from the phone box or on the bridge.
Our route follows the River Dane downstream as far as the weir, cross to Gig Hall and ascend to Hollinhall, then Brandy-Lee, Barleigh Ford Bridge, Dumkins, Nettlebeds, Ship Inn, return to start point. Can be muddy, wear gaiters and take poles if you normally use them. Bring coffee/tea and a snack for our half-way break. Dogs welcome if on leads at all times (sheep in fields).
