Overview

We will use paths and quiet lanes to the east of Colden Common, passing Marwell Zoo then turning north to Owslebury for a lunch stop - about 4.5 miles in the morning. The afternoon walk is only 2.5 miles  to return to the start point. It’s a fairly steep climb up to the lunch stop and some muddy areas, so walking poles are recommended. In the morning we set out across a busy road but despite this the walk is mostly quiet and rural.
