Overview

A varied walk starts at Rothley Station, goes around Swithland Reservoir, over the railway through Swithland Wods, and back to Rothley. The walking is mainly on quiet lanes, woodland tracks, and field paths. There are no steep hills, just a couple of gentle climbs through a field and in the woods . There is one stile. Going may be slippery in parts after very heavy rain, but the field paths are over shallow, stony soils and are free-draining.

The Station Tea Shop should  be open at the end of the walk for refreshments and chat.

If you would like to join this walk please contact the Leader using the email link. The maximum number of walkers is 25.
