This a 10.5 mile circuit from Bridge, that explores the undulating countryside of orchards woodland and parkland, visits two attractive villages, as well as a country pub.
Our anti-clockwise route see us head to Gorsley Wood, as we pass close to Pett Bottom and the Duck, famous for its James Bond connections, but sadly it is no longer open. Passing through Charlton Wood, we head across to a white farmhouse, wonderfully named Heart's Delight, then at this point we join the Elham Valley Way. Indeed we follow this named route for the remainder of our journey back to Bridge, and on reaching the village of Kingston, we will take a drinks stop in the Black Robin.
We continue on through Charlton Park to reach Bishopsbourne, before passing through Bourne Park in the latter stages of this fine hike. As ever there will be the usual picnic stop at a suitable stopping point, as well as the pub stop, whilst there are further pubs on our return to Bridge.
