We are the Ashford Ramblers and are of of 13 groups in Kent, that help to promote the benefits of walking with others in the county.

For our May short monthly Saturday taster walk, we head out on a circuit of 5.5 miles starting from Carters Field, which is adjacent to Bromley Green Village Hall.
The route heads along Poundhurst Road, through Ladswood Farm and into Packing Wood to cross fields, we then go under the A2070 and over the railway to reach Hamstreet. After a short stretch of road in the village, we head through a turf field, to then skirt the edge of Hamstreet Woods on the return leg back to Bromley Green.
Non members in particular are encouraged to join these shorter walks, and are welcome to participate in three group walks, before being asked to become a member.
