Overview

A re-run of a walk that I led a few years ago.  We will catch the 1010am bus from outside of the George in Lacock, ample parking in the NT car park if not on the roadside nearby, arriving in Chippenham at 1025am. The return explores parkland and the River Avon on the edge of Chippenham, a section of the Wilts & Berks Canal, Queen Camilla’s Reybridge and Harry Potter’s Lacock. The bus leaves Trowbridge at 932am and Melksham at 955am – I will already be on the bus if you think that the walk leader is AWOL.  The George has a postcode of SN15 2LH and what three words are being.inversion.defaults  This walk is easy; flat with just 5 stiles  Bring a snack or pick-up a delicious pasty from Parsons Bakery on Chippenham’s High Street.
