An excellent walk in a beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales. From the Main Street in Hebden we head in a south easterly direction to Mill Bridge then cross the River Wharfe via the Suspension Bridge or stepping stones if you are feeling adventurous ! Following the Wharfe to Burnsall we then have 7 fields and the same number of typical Dales wall stiles to negotiate. Crossing Badger Lane we continue to Thorpe then along the lane and northwards over fields to the road and pick up the path over Stickhaw Hill to Linton Falls. From there we walk on Sedber Lane to Grassington , through the village to High Lane and back to Hebden across fields, pastures and more stiles ! Great views given a fine day, 7.5 miles but the number of stiles will take longer than normal for a walk of this distance.
