Overview

The walk follows the Whinstone Ridge over Sneaton High Moor to Newton House  Plantation along mainly moorland paths and forest tracks. Coffee will be by the stream at May Beck carpark. We then follow the Coast to Coast path along may Beck past Falling Foss and Midge Hall to Littlebeck where there are ample seats in this delightful little village for lunch. After crossing the stream we make our way up through the Little Beck Nature Reserve and wood towards Intake Farm. The views back over the farmland to Whitby and out to sea are excellent. We then follow the track along Leas Head Road  and back over the moor to our start.
