This is a walk of approximately 12.5 miles that enjoys the wonderful countryside and views as we head above the North Downs Way to explore the Hucking Estate.
We make our way initially to Hollingbourne, to then have a steady ascent after leaving the North Downs Way. We pass above Eden's Hole and then into the Woodland Trust owned Hucking Estate, before eventually reaching the village of Hucking.
Continuing in a northwards direction, when close to Swanton Court our route then heads through the Wormshill & Bredgar Light Railway. As we descend, there are fine views to be had at various vantage points along the way.
After returning to the North Downs Way, progress is straight forward to complete this delightful but energetic hike.
Usual picnic lunch stop en route plus drinks in the Hook and Hatchet at Hucking......now try saying that after too many beers!
