The first of our summer season of short evening walks for 2025, is a familiar circuit of 5.5 miles starting from Pluckley. So come and join us, as we head through gentle fields and quiet lanes on this summer stroll in "Darling Buds of May" countryside.
We head away from Pluckley on the Greensand Way passing through Elvey Farm, to then head northwards to give us good views of the North Downs, before joining the Stour Valley Walk. We then pass the ruins of St Marys Church, which was destroyed by a doodlebug during the 2nd World War as we head towards Little Chart.
After passing the Swan Inn, we rejoin the Greensand Way for the return to Pluckley, through orchards & fields to finish, and hopefully a post walk drink in the Black Horse, which is once again open for business.
