Overview

A lovely walk along the River Erme, under the Great Western Viaduct , through farmland and woodlands to historic Harford church. We walk uphill on to open moorland, Hangershell rock, Butterdon Hill and Western Beacon with magnificent viewpoints.

One steep uphill on road, may be boggy areas on high moorland, small stream crossings.

We will stop for coffee in woodlands and on Hangershell Rock for lunch.
