Overview

This walk follows a circular route leaving Owlesbury to the North and travelling clockwise to the East and then South on mostly small roads and wooded tracks with some far-reaching views. We will walk past Longwood House and return skirting the grounds of Marwell Hall/Zoo to our West.

This is mostly gentle undulating countryside - could be muddy - a few stiles.

As usual this is a picnic walk and will include a short coffee break and a longer lunch break.

Please bring everything you are likely to require including walk poles where used.

The village hall is signposted off the main road through Owlesbury immediately SW of Beech Grove. Car parking is available and we generally make a donation of £1 per car to the village hall funds.
