Overview

This ramble takes us past the Pen-y-gwely Reservoir (emply at the moment for dam maintenance) to upland tracks and field paths. We follow the Ceiriog Trail for a short distance, then descend along the flanks of Foel Rhiwlas to the lane and to the start. Gorgeous views and scenery on a clear day. Muddy in places, no stiles but lots of gates.
