Overview

The walk starts off through Lady Cannings Plantation, before crossing Burbage Moor and skirting the Rivelin  reservoirs.  We then climb up to and cross Hallam Moor to Stanage Edge and Burbage Rocks before returning to Ringinglow.  There are great views from  and across the moors.  The terrain is typical Peak District, with some slippery mud and uneven surfaces.  The length of the walk is 12.6 miles, with a total ascent of 1840 feet (560 metres).
