Overview

A circular walk from Welwyn Garden City via Wheathampstead following the River Lee, Ayot St. Lawrence, Ayot St. Peter, returning to WGC. 

Pub lunch at the Brocket Arms at Ayot St. Lawrence. There is a picnic spot nearby for those with a packed lunch.

There is no public transport drop-out point at Ayot St. Lawrence.  I do have contact details for WGC taxi companies (Welwyn or A1 taxis).  Those wanting to drop out may be able to arrange a taxi from the pub to WGC.

Suggested train times at 09:03 from Finsbury Park (platform 7/8) to Welwyn Garden City station, arriving at 09:26.  Return trains from WCG station to Finsbury Park at TBC past the hour.

Return train fare from Finsbury Park to WGC £11.10 without railcards / oyster cards.
