York Ramblers - Kirkham Priory

We start at Kirkham Priory and walk to Howsham Bridge and return on the opposite side of the river. We will pass through Westow on our way. This walk does not walk beside the river so is walkable even if the river is in flood.  Lunch will be at Howsham Mill if conditions allow otherwise at Howsham Church.

There is a good amount of road and track walking and the grass will be wet.  Poles would be useful on the bank leading through Oak Cliff Wood at Kirkham.
