We are the Tavistock Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting from the beauty spot of Hexworthy Bridge we lead via Dartmeet to the steep hill to Sharp Tor (for coffee). Then we follow Dr Blackall’s Drive to New Bridge (toilets and ice cream available). The Holne woods lead to Holne (for lunch; pub drink possible) and then the hamlet of Michelcombe and the long climb to Holne Moor. We cross this to Combestone Tor. From here we follow the attractive road to the starting point.
Please share cars as there is very limited space at the start point.
