Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform, at Piccadilly station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at St Helens Junction station.

Transport to Walk Start: 10:54 train from Manchester Piccadilly (final destination Liverpool Lime Street).

Suggested Ticket: Off Peak Day Return to Lea Green £11.50.

Walk Start: St Helens Junction Railway Station at 11:30.

Waypoints: Parr Moss, Bold, Abbotsfield Farm, Clock Face Colliery Country Park.

Return Services: From Lea Green: x:25 until 20:25, 21:32, 22:28, 23:26.

Extra: No toilets at walk start or en route. Optional pub visit at the end of the walk at the Bull and Dog pub next to Lea Green station . Please do not bring your dog (apart from registered assistance dogs).

A relatively easy walk of approx. 9 and a half miles mainly on decent paths round the fringes of St. Helens. There are easy gradients and very few stiles. We'll visit Colliers Moss, Clock Face Country Park and go to The Dream sculpture which you may have seen from the M62 when travelling towards Liverpool.
