Overview

The walk will visit Rippon  Tor, Blackslade Ford, Pil Tor and Top Tor. Along the way we will see examples of the stone cutters work, an incised cross and an abandoned cross, unfinished mill stones, and archaeological remains, including a kist, medieval long house and the Foale’s Arrishes settlement. There will be two short steepish ascents and then descents,  and the walk will be on moorland paths.
