We walk from Warwick Parkway onto the Grand Union Canal, proceeding west along the Canal to the top of Hatton Locks flight. The paths are good on this section. We visit the Café there for refreshments and toilets. We then proceed south in a loop, mainly on field paths, with some lane walking, via Budbrooke Church back to Warwick Parkway. There is one stile on this section. There are muddy parts where boots (and possibly poles) are required. We return to Birmingham from Warwick Parkway Station where the walk ends.

JOINING INSTRUCTIONS: Meeting Point outside Warwick Parkway Station at 10.45 am. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Catch a train from Moor Street to arrive at Warwick Parkway in time for the start. (At time of writing this was the 10.15 am from Moor Street, arriving at Warwick Parkway at 10.37 am. Do check for relevant train times nearer the date). If you are coming by train and you are delayed, please advise the Leader by text if possible. BY CAR: Parking is expensive at Warwick Parkway Station Car Park, 160 Old Budbrooke Road, Budbrooke, Warwick, CV35 7DY (£9.60 for the day at time of writing). However, Hatton Bottom Lock Car Park on the other side of the canal to the Station Car Park is more reasonable.
