Overview

Starting from Threlkeld Cricket Club, we first cross the A66 (using the pedestrian crossing)  and pass through the village. We then use mostly good paths and minor (farm) roads taking in Wescoe and Glenderaterra Beck before entering Bruntholm woods and taking the undulating path that passes underneath Latrigg before we ascend to the summit. From the summit we initially head north and pick up the path that runs from the Skiddaw/Latrigg Car park and descends clockwise around the north side of Latrigg, crossing our outbound route we continue down to eventually join the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Path and follow beside the River Greta back to Threlkeld and on to the Car Park.
