Overview

We’ll start from Meldon Quarry car park with a gradual climb alongside Red-a-ven Brook. We’ll then head towards Black Tor and descend to the northern end of Black-a-Tor Copse before returning via Vellake Corner alongside Meldon Reservoir. Some narrow rocky paths as we head up alongside the brook and steepish downhill at Black Tor. Beautiful scenery and good views if the weather is kind! Note 9.30 start.
