Overview

WALK DESCRIPTION: Walk leader : Brenda Cameron. Distance of walk: 7.75 miles – morning 4.5 miles, afternoon 3.25 miles.  The pub is on the edge of Birmingham suburbs with some very attractive countryside to the south which our routes will follow. The morning walk partly following the North Worcestershire Path  includes Wast Hill – more of a slope really! – a pleasant woodland path then field paths and a quiet lane back to the pub for lunch.  One or two stiles on the route and a modest gradual ascent. After lunch the route is south-west towards Bittell reservoir and Hopwood again following part of the North Worcestershire Path then another field path back towards the pub. Again, one or two stiles and a short easy ascent.
