A hilly walk at a brisk pace over the South Downs passing Rackham Hill, Wepham Down and Norfolk Clump via Burpham. Some steep hills and uneven surfaces. Please use toilets on the train as there are no facilities at Amberley station or en route before lunch time.
Lunch: bring picnic - pub for drinks/loos only at Burpham. There are benches in and around the churchyard.
Train: Victoria 8:35; Clapham Junction 8:42; East Croydon 8:53 (Bognor Regis train). Buy return to Amberley.
