A delightfully varied walk (SWC 1). Some steep but short inclines; some easy walking through parkland with extensive views; woodland, including part of the Great Wood; fields; some walking through country lanes; some on chalk studded tracks. A tiny village with a huge church; a long weir over turbulent waters. Finally, a calm end along the Thames path to Henley. There will be mud after rain and chalk tracks can be slippery.
