A walk through the Chess Valley and the tranquil Chiltern Hills with some superb panoramic views. The walk is undulating with a number of steep ascents. For lunch the walk climbs up to the village of Chenies where there is a pub but bring a packed lunch. There is the Church of St Michaels in the village, former home of the Russell family, well worth a visit during the lunch break.
Afternoon walk parallel with the Chess valley passing Latimer House before eventually descending into Chesham.

Train: Take the Metropolitan Line from Baker Street Underground Station to arrive at Chorleywood station for a 10.40 start or the Chiltern line from Marylebone at 09:56 arriving at Chorleywood at 10:24.
