Overview

This walk is run in conjunction with Maggie’s longer walk on the same day. We will accompany Maggie’s group for the first 2 miles along the western side of the By Brook to Widdenham Farm before wishing the ‘elite walkers’ bon voyage. Our shorter return to Box involves a steep ascent of some 300 feet to Folly Cottage, a hillside path to Drewett’s Mill and a seldom trodden path along the eastern side of the By Brook below Fogleigh House. Bring snack.
