Overview

A walk in industrial north Kent; along the south bank of the Thames estuary. A good day for electricity pylon spotters.  In the late afternoon we pass under the QE2 bridge (M25 southbound) before reaching our destination station of Dartford.

Train:  Charing Cross 0850 or St Pancras 0920 to Gravesend.

Lunch: Pier Hotel, Greenhithe
