This walk takes us to the lands north of Haydon Bridge and promises spectacular views across the Tyne valley.
From Haydon Bridge we work our way north across Haydon Fell towards Settlingstones (the site of a mining community until 1969 - see link for co-curate photos) and the Military Road. From here our route goes west before turning south at Seldom Seen to Haresby Road. Our return is via Prior House, Chesterwood and the Tofts.
A mix of field and moorland paths, tracks and quiet country lanes.
