The long-awaited follow up to “Magical Mystery Walk”, a new selection of tracks to help you discover a whole host of musically important London locations, including multiple music colleges, recording studios and even a former piano factory. We start at Sloane Square where we can see our first performance venue, before we pick our way across some of London’s finest residential areas to reach Albert Hall, from which we head into Hyde Park (where toilets await), then into Mayfair - if you can Handel it - and across into Regents Park, where we will stop at a cafe (but please bring a picnic so we can move on up). After Primrose Hill we head on to Belsize Park and ultimately Hampstead High Street where places to refresh are aplenty.
This will be a properly brisk walk but with multiple stopping points. It is entirely on paved surfaces, so leave your boots and sticks at home. If this is too uptempo, or you are short on time, you will be able to walk as much or little as you like as there are multiple points to pick up a bus or train home. We finish by walking right by Chalk Farm and Belsize Park Northern Line Stations.
Travel: Walk starts at Sloane Square Underground Station (Zone 1) is on the District and Circle Line
No booking required.
The finish time is for the entire route and is purely a guide as the pace of the walk and time spent at each stopping point are difficult to predict, as is the weather and size of the group.
