The South Bucks Way is 23 miles long starting at Coombe Hill near Wendover and ending in Denham near Uxbridge.
The second section of the walk (14 miles including the sections to and from stations) starts at Amersham station, descending into Amersham Old Town and continuing along the River Misbourne, through lovely countryside and woodlands. The walk passes through Chalfont St Giles and Chalfont St Peter, continuing along the river Colne to Denham village and then along the Grand Union canal, where the South Bucks Way ends we continue on to Uxbridge station.
The walk is generally flat, sections of the path can be muddy after rain.
We will stop for lunch in Chalfont St Peter (there are facilities including shops, pubs and toilets, but please bring a packed lunch).
