A beautiful Kent walk. We may enjoy some bluebells. First we head for Goddington Park and continue through Lily’s Wood, followed by some pleasant countryside. We cross the M25 via the footbridge and enter the stunning Lullingstone Country Park. We head south with beautiful views before descending to our lunch stop at the picturesque village of Shoreham. There are a couple of pubs, but please bring a packed lunch.
After lunch we go uphill and climb through Meenfield Wood and Andrew’s Wood. We then head north though Hollows Wood and Well Hill. We walk through more pleasant countryside with lovely views of London on the way back to Chelsfield.
Travel: Take the 10.01 from Charing Cross (London Bridge 10.10), arrives Chelsfield 10.47. Chelsfield is in oyster travelcard zone 6
There are two trains an hour back to London
